1st Ramsden and Downham Scout Troop Charity Fund Raising

For us to be able to run the scouts at such a fair price, we are a section of the Ramsden Bellhouse Village Hall committee, one of our responsibilities is to raise funds for their annual charity.
This year the charity chosen by the committee is Basildon MIND. Basildon Mind is a registered charity, which has been helping people with mental health problems in the Basildon area for over 40 years. They offer support, advice and services to enable those experiencing mental distress to be empowered to gain a better quality of life.
For our contribution, we are setting the Scouts a Summer Bob-a-Job Challenge. Your scout will have been given a label to put on clean, used jar or container & their challenge is to carry out jobs over the summer & save the money they earn in the container & return it after the summer.
We hope to raise as much as possible for this good cause & will award the scout with the most raised with a prize.
We really appreciate your help & encouragement to assist your scout with this challenge.
